incredible views. Entering the forest our guide will tell you the history, use and classification of the species, with the opportunity to observe wildlife among them ; snakes, frogs, monkeys, sloths, a variety of birds and many insects that at best you can appreciate very closely.

Itinerary

The Gandoca-Manzanillo JMS Refuge has incredible biodiversity. Manzanillo will be the beginning of this tour, you will meet this picturesque Caribbean town continuing on the coastal path with incredible views. Entering the forest our guide will tell you the history, use and classification of the species, with the opportunity to observe wildlife among them ; snakes, frogs, monkeys, sloths, a variety of birds and many insects that at best you can appreciate very closely.The trail will lead us to Punta Mona located in the center of the refuge, remote and isolated place of incredible beauty, white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and gentle waves.

You can visit a permaculture farm with a wide variety of plants and fruit trees (with the permission of the owner). “LA CASA DE PADI” is a historical and cultural place, the home of a local fisherman, who was once the only inhabitant of Punta Mona, home to fishermen and visitors. Then from this point we will take a boat that will take us back to the town of Manzanillo.
