The Night Walk

Trial extension: 2.0 kilometers.

Once the sunset takes over the horizon, we prepare our flashlights to explore the nocturnal wildlife existent in the glorious northern nature reserve of the island. We will begin at the meeting point at the hotel’s front desk(if the hotel is in the island) or at the main dock(if the guest is located outside Tortuguero Downtown and needs transportation to reach
the island), at both of these places our guides will greet you, give you instructions of how the tour will be and we will begin to walk north side where the trail await for us. The trial has 2.5 kilometers of pure nature and wildlife waiting for you. This tour is ideal for adventurous travelers that are looking for an unique experience in the middle of the Costarrican Amazonia. During this tour you will be able to witness dozens of nocturnal species that otherwise you would not be able to appreciate like the colorful red-eyed frogs, armadillos, snakes, bats and many more species inherents from the area… The guide who will lead the tour is about to be making multiple stops to research wildlife and in each of those stops he is about to fulfill the silence with valuable information according to the tour, so, please if you have any questions drop them silently during the tour under the permit of the guide to preserve the tranquility of the trials and the balance of nature and humans that we preserve.
