The Climb To The Hill

Discover the magic hidden in the middle of the highest peak of the Caribbean Coast. This tour is ideal for the guest who is looking for an active but not extreme tour, climbing more than four hundred and fifty concrete steps. The hill promises to deliver breathtaking views of the Caribbean lowlands and Caribbean Sea. Upon entering “El Cerro” your senses will perceive the magnitude of the nature that wraps up this place, encouraging an adventurous spirit. In this activity the guest will board the aquatic transportation at Tortuguero’s main dock with direction to the hill and even during this 10-minute trip the guest can find dozens of species of local birds, but to catch reptiles and several of the forest’s treasures they will have to wait to be along the concrete steps that lead to the highest peak in the coast. Join other guests and one of the hotel’s certified guides on this adventure during the daytime. We will meet at Tortuguero’s main dock or your hotel’s main dock with the boat to go straight to the magnificent hill.
