Itinerary

A fun, interactive tour to meet your expectations of rescued sloths and learn all about their physiology, behavior, their habitat, and the dangers they face in the wild. They will experience the lush lowland rainforest and its wildlife. Aviarios del Caribe is a Model Comprehensive Center that works on the investigation, protection and rehabilitation of sloths. Tourists upon arrival at the sanctuary are welcomed and then they will see a short 12-minute presentation. In this video you will learn about these small and enigmatic creatures. Then they will take a boat with
capacity for 5 people, guide and boatman, for 45 minutes they will travel down the Estrella River through tropical vegetation observing its riches and exuberance of the Caribbean rainforest. Then a 20-minute walk where you can see sloths in their natural environment, birds, butterflies, monkeys and other species. Finally, you can visit the craft store that has countless sloth souvenirs.
