This tour begins in the morning with the greetings from our guide while boarding the transportation that will depart to Kekoldy Indigenous Reserve. At this first reserve the guests are going to meet with an authentic indigenous family, that dedicates to the reproduction of the Green Iguana, specie located in the endangered list but due to initiatives like this one has been recovering in the last few years.
This tour begins in the morning with the greetings from our guide while boarding the transportation that will depart to Kekoldy Indigenous Reserve. At this first reserve the guests are going to meet with an authentic indigenous family, that dedicates to the reproduction of the Green Iguana, specie located in the endangered list but due to initiatives like this one has been recovering in the last few years.
After this first chapter, we will visit BriBri Indigenous Reserve, specifically an indigenous family household that will lead on a garden tour where multiple medicine plantations are grown, also the fiber obtaining and weaving process, this tour finishes at a small place into the estate where they demonstrate how the chocolate is produced.
The cacao is very important for the BriBri Culture since they are used for purification, medicine and food purposes.
During the trip the guide will deliver limited water bottles.
After the estate tour, the guests will visit a waterfall where they can relax and take a quick refreshing bath.
After the waterfall, the tour ends in a pretty typical Caribbean restaurant where lunch is taken.
